How do I get my pattern?
As soon as your payment goes through, we email your PDF(s) to the address you entered at checkout. The files are attached, and there's a download button for each one that works for 30 days. You'll also see download buttons on the thank-you page straight after checkout.
I didn't get the email
It usually arrives within a minute. Check your spam or promotions folder and search for “Resting Stitch Face”. Still nothing after 15 minutes? Please use the contact form with the email you used and we'll resend it by hand.
My download link expired
Links last 30 days. That's why we attach the PDFs to your email too. If you've lost the file, use the contact form with your order number (it starts with RSF-) and we'll send a fresh link.
How do I open the PDF?
Any PDF reader works: Preview on Mac, Adobe Acrobat Reader, or your phone or tablet's built-in viewer. Many stitchers use a tablet app such as Markup R-XP, Saga or Pattern Keeper to mark off stitches.
Can I print it?
Yes, as many times as you like for your own stitching. The black & white chart is designed to print cleanly on a home printer.
What fabric and thread do I need?
Each pattern lists its stitch count, recommended fabric count, hoop size and DMC colours. Most are designed for 14 count Aida; a few (like the Nutcracker designs) are made for 22 count. Use a higher count for a smaller finish. The size guide is in the PDF.
Will anything be posted to me?
No. Every product here is a digital PDF pattern only. Fabric, floss, needles and hoops aren't included.
How do I pay?
Checkout is hosted by Stripe, so we never see your card details. Card, Apple Pay and Google Pay are accepted. Prices are in Australian dollars; your bank converts if you pay in another currency.
Do you have discount codes?
Keep an eye on our socials and Etsy shop announcements. If you have a code, enter it on the Stripe checkout page.
Can I get a refund?
Because patterns are delivered instantly as digital files, we don't offer refunds for change of mind. If a file is faulty, won't open, or isn't what was described, we'll fix it, replace it or refund you. See our refund policy.
